I had the great pleasure in styling an editorial for Natalie recently. A fun little studio shoot with a hell of a lot of pastel colours (hence the title, Pastel Riot).

“I was really interested in the pastel and metallic trends that are currently going round, I chose to use mostly plain garments (without pattern) so that i could focus more on texture and having an interesting colour palette running through the images without it being too over powering. I also wanted to steer away from the stereotypical ‘girly’ look associated with pastel colours which is why i chose the hair and makeup in the way it is and also the positioning of the model.” – Natalie Jade Reading
