If Harry Styles holding a chicken in a St Albans chippy wasn’t enough for you, fear not. Harry’s back again with a whole load more farmyard animals. Why? Gucci teamed up again with Harry Styles and photographer Glen Luchford to snap the Gucci Cruise 2019 tailoring campaign.
For those who know me, you’ll know Harold has a place in my heart – I love his fashion decisions but I do very much miss the long hair. But I’m not here to discuss life choices, I’m here to talk about Gucci.
As I said earlier, Styles previously starred in Gucci’s AW18 tailoring campaign and now he’s back again for the Cruise collection. Let’s be honest, a chicken is grand, but what this new Gucci campaign really needs is some piglets, lambs and goats.
The team took over a villa in Rome to showcase the new menswear tailoring and honestly, it is STUNNING! I love where Gucci has ventured in terms of menswear, I just wish I could actually afford to buy it. Everything is so feminine yet tailored and strong, it’s quite 70’s with romanticised colour palettes and an eclectic mix of embroidered floral jackets and silk kimonos.
And of course, nothing says “I’m wealthy, worldly and whimsical” like wiping pig shit off of a two grand jacket.
Anyway, have a look at the gorgeous photographs of some adorable farmyard animals, some stellar tailoring and a beautiful musician who melts my heart.
He’s a beaut, isn’t he? Anyway, if anybody fancies spending a chunk of cash on buying me a couple of pieces from this collection, I will be eternally grateful!
